I have been intimidated with decal application because of bubbles that always seem to form. On my Mercury outboard, I cleaned motor housing thoroughly removing all previous decal glue then rubbed out to achieve a high gloss finish. When applying I definitely recommend using the wet method in instructions and application will turn out to be a bubble less perfect application. So perfect in fact that people ask me if outboard is new!
